About Cypress Essential Oil

Cypress essential oil is steam-distilled from the fresh needles, twigs, and small cones of Cupressus sempervirens, the slender evergreen that lines roads and gardens across the Mediterranean. The trees have symbolized endurance since classical times.

Its scent is fresh, pine-like, and smoky-green, drier and more refined than common pine oils, with a resinous, lingering finish. Cypress bridges top and middle notes and partners naturally with juniper, bergamot, lavender, and cedarwood.
